PLEASE NOTE LOCAL RULE RELATING TO THE ROCKY AREAS WHICH ARE NOW PART OF THE COURSE.

The Official Guide to the Rules of Golf (R&A/USGA) state that
Golf clubs and committees can adopt local rules  when local conditions require special provisions.

This is a  wording to cater for the new rocky areas which we are told are considered part of the course.

 

If your ball is in a rocky area you may take relief for one penalty stroke by using one of the following options:

1. Stroke-and-Distance Relief – Go back to where the previous stroke was made and play again.

2. Back-on-the-Line Relief – Drop a ball  as far back as you want on a line going straight back from the hole through the point where the ball last crossed the edge of the rocky area.
    

3. Lateral Relief – Drop a ball within two club lengths of the point where the ball last crossed the edge of the rocky area, not nearer the hole.
